1099 Tax Software Enhanced
WorldSharp Technologies, Inc. Announces the WorldSharp 1099
Tax Form Preparation System with Electronic Reporting has been enhanced.
ANGEL FIRE, New Mexico —December
17, 2006 — WorldSharp Technologies, Inc. today announced
the availability of the 2006 version of Worldsharp 1099 Preparation
System. It is ready to ship with the new
forms, form changes and changes in the IRS electronic reporting specifications
for 2006. Some of the new enhancements
have to do with streamlined data entry and printing.
The 2006 version works with all Windows versions from 95 to XP and
is being tested under Microsoft Vista.
Items can be entered using two different modes of data entry. One is a simple fast data entry where the
operator enters all fields in a tabular format.
The other uses a WYSIWYG Screen that looks just like the printed
1099. The system has a flexible data import
capability that can be used when customers have the required data in other
software systems or Microsoft Excel. The
system allows customers to retain payee information for next year’s forms.
Printing can be on pre-printed forms or blank paper. On inkjet and laser printers, the system will
print the form and the data. The standard
version prints and electronically reports Forms 1098, 1098-C, 1098-E, 1098-T,
1099-A, 1099-B, 1099-C, 1099-CAP, 1099-DIV, 1099-G, 1099-H, 1099-INT, 1099-LTC,
1099-MISC, 1099-OID, 1099-PATR, 1099-Q, 1099-R, 1099-S, 1099-SA, 5498,
5498-ESA, 5498-SA and W-2G. For users
wishing to print on pre-printed forms and file forms with the IRS instead of
filing electronically, the system also prints Form 1096. A special version is
available which prints and reports Forms 1042-S.
Bobby Anderson, president of WorldSharp Technologies said that in
the past, the system was primarily used by banks and financial institutions,
which is WorldSharp’s main marketing focus.
However, in recent years, companies from many industries have discovered
that the system can be very cost effective for them. Many of the customers already have their data
in electronic form and do not want to enter all of that data again. Another important feature is that the system
can prepare any of the forms instead of just the few that its competitors
prepare. The system is priced very
competitively at $89.95. The system
ships at no extra charge with the WorldSharp Stockholder Accounting System and
the NoteServe Contract Servicing System.
